About The Game

Crown Gambit puts the player in the role of a guide for three paladins who find themselves embroiled in a war for succession. The kingdom of Meodred has entered a period of civil strife, causing widespread unrest throughout the capital. These inexperienced heroes, wielding relics, must navigate a city engulfed in chaos and feuds between noble families. Each contender for the throne is gathering troops to seize the crown, pushing the kingdom toward full-scale war.

The gameplay involves pledging allegiance to one of the contenders and helping him come to power through tactical card battles. Such a choice will require adhering to certain beliefs, but actions will have a direct and tangible price within the framework of history. Using family heirlooms, you will have to confront opponents, including knights from warring factions, treacherous aristocrats and organized rebels from the common people. The consequences of the decisions made will determine the further path and show what will have to be sacrificed to establish a new order in the state.
