About The Game

Sovereigns End is a dynamic 3D space action roguelike in the bullet hell style, shifting the emphasis from aiming to tactics and survival. In this game, abilities are activated automatically, so the pilot's primary task is to maneuver wisely and build an effective build to counter the increasing number of enemies. Progression system in each run is based on finding synergies between abilities. Particular attention is paid to the Breakpoint mechanic: reaching certain stat thresholds not only increases damage output, but also fundamentally changes the gameplay and functionality of abilities. Furthermore, players can create a Custom Core, choosing their own starting skill set for more flexible control over their progression.

Combat is enhanced by the Overdrive mechanic, which allows players to temporarily boost all abilities and move swiftly across the battlefield. However, this power comes at a cost: too little heat reduces effectiveness, while overheating at a critical moment can be fatal. A pilot's skill is demonstrated by their ability to balance the brink of overheating for maximum gain. The path to the final boss, the Sovereign, leads through battles with four different factions: the Hive, the Aegis, the Damned, and the Void. Each requires a different approach and unique build. Even after defeat, progress is not reset: through the Arsenal, players can unlock permanent upgrades, new cores, and modifiers that make their characters stronger from run to run.
