About The Game

Dread Flats places the player in a Chinese apartment complex from a first-person perspective. The building is a confirmed murder scene, so the immediate cause of death and the events surrounding it must be investigated. Gamers must enter the building to find out what happened, moving through its many floors to recreate the picture of what happened. The main task is to find clues and combine disparate information into a single version of what happened.

The central mystery in Dread Flats turns out to be deeper than a single murder: several people associated with the house are listed as missing. This creates a parallel goal — to establish the location of these people. It is necessary to conduct a thorough inspection of the territory, examining the apartments and utility rooms.

Analyzing the found objects to understand the tragedy that unfolded. Progress in the game depends on the ability to correctly interpret the crime scene and the objects found.
