About The Game

Craggenrock is an indie RPG where you play as Arlo, a blacksmith who has returned to the monster-infested island of Halina to rebuild his life and business in the recovering town of Parejo. The core gameplay revolves around a skill-based crafting system that requires precise timing and technique to forge high-quality weapons, armor, and tools from hundreds of available materials and recipes. You'll manage every aspect of your forge, from pricing items based on their quality to maintaining inventory by purchasing materials from other merchants, including unusual items like Stomach Acid for special recipes.

The game features deep progression through the Crafting and Selling skill trees, allowing you to invest in talents that suit your playstyle, whether it's getting the maximum tips from customers or boosting the stats of mastered items. In addition to the basic shop management, you can take on orders from adventurers, using a bargaining mechanic that includes small talk and strategic negotiations to strike lucrative deals while meeting tight deadlines. The town of Parejo serves as more than just a backdrop for the game you can contribute to its restoration by making donations and expanding your shop. Your ultimate goal is to unlock your personal recipe Craggenrock, a unique creation that reflects your choices and journey as an artisan throughout the game.
