About The Game

Tall Trails puts you in control of Alp, a small golem in search of his destiny. Movement is tied to the Rocket Boot, a device that consumes collected items as fuel for flight. The gamer will have to run and climb through the world, using the boot for vertical lift. Each item provides a unique effect, changing the way the character navigates obstacles. This mechanic is central to the exploration of this game and requires constant resource gathering.

The world of Tall Trails consists of 5 different biomes, each of which presents new ways of movement and discovery. Objectives include conquering mountains, helping the inhabitants of the camp, and searching for treasure. An item-based fuel system offers various possibilities: hot peppers activate the jetpack effect, and helicopters allow you to glide. In another example, spiders can be used as a source of fuel to create webs, allowing you to fly across chasms and adding a separate movement option.

Character development involves finding and upgrading badges that directly enhance platforming abilities. You can also collect hats to change the appearance of the protagonist. The main storyline takes about 4 hours to complete. After its completion, the game offers a continuation in procedurally generated worlds, creating new islands to explore. These new locations allow you to further apply the key mechanics of movement and appearance customization without a specific ending.
