About The Game

Eclipsium is a first-person horror adventure developed by indie studio Housefire, immersing players in a nightmarish journey through disturbing locations. You play as the Wanderer, a desperate protagonist searching for a mysterious woman referred to only as She, across twisted landscapes, including hellish tombs, grotesque cathedrals of flesh, and even otherworldly cosmic objects.

The game's core mechanics revolve around relentless forward movement there are no safe havens or comfort zones, as you navigate endless darkness, guided only by the pale light. Your character possesses a unique transmuting hand ability, which serves as both a weapon and a tool for carving a path through obstacles and enemies that stand in your way.

Eclipsium focuses on sacrifice and despair as central themes: the Wanderer is willing to destroy themselves and abandon everything to achieve their goal. The game's design philosophy centers on constant movement through increasingly unsettling environments, creating a terrifying atmosphere built on pursuit rather than hide-and-seek or puzzle-solving.
