About The Game

Dead Engine is an action roguelike with survival elements, where the main threat is sentient hordes of infected. Enemies don't simply mindlessly pursue their targets, but use an advanced navigation system to coordinate their actions. Upon spotting each other, mutants can form large groups, posing a deadly threat. Some enemy types prefer ranged attacks, pelting cover with acid projectiles. Successful combat requires skillful use of the environment. Pixel-style urban ruins become a tactical tool for creating traps and planning escape routes.

In the ruined metropolis, you can encounter other survivors. Discovering these characters unlocks control over them in subsequent runs. Interacting with them isn't limited to combat trading at the camp allows you to not only obtain valuable salvage but also learn fragments of their personal stories. The core of gameplay in Dead Engine is scavenging for supplies and managing your inventory.

Effective survival directly depends on the gamer's ability to perform a number of actions in a timely manner:

• Expanding the backpacks capacity to carry more items.
• Combine found items to free up valuable space.
• Adapting gear to your playstyle.
