About The Game
It took a long time but we are finally getting a sequel to the anime souls-like hit. Bandai Namco announced that CODE VEIN II Ultimate Edition is coming in 2026 and fans are already talking about what has changed. If you played the first one you know it was all about that dark post-apocalyptic vibe and deep customization. From what we have seen so far the developers kept the core feeling but made the world much bigger and more dangerous.
The main thing everyone loves is the character creator and it seems like it will be even more detailed this time. You can spend hours just picking the right hair and outfits before you even start fighting. But once you do start the combat feels a lot smoother than before. It is still a challenging action RPG where you have to learn enemy patterns but the movement doesn't feel as heavy as in the first game.
The Blood Code system is still the star of the show here. It is one of the best parts of the series because you can change your entire playstyle whenever you want. If you get stuck on a boss with a fast sword build you can just swap to heavy weapons or magic without having to restart the whole game. This kind of freedom is rare in souls-like games and it is great to see it back.

Another thing that makes Code Vein 2 stand out is the partner system. You don't have to explore the ruins alone because you can always bring an AI companion with you. They feel a bit smarter now and they actually help you in a fight instead of just getting in the way. Of course you can still play in co-op with a friend which is the best way to experience the story anyway. The world design looks more varied too. Instead of just ruined city streets we are seeing frozen forests and strange underground labs. Everything looks really sharp thanks to the new engine but it still keeps that distinct anime style. If you are looking for a deep action RPG with a lot of style and a good challenge Code Vein 2 is going to be one of the biggest games of 2026. It is a perfect mix of story and tough combat that will keep you busy for dozens of hours.

How to Install
- Download the files to a convenient location
- Important: The path to the game folder must not contain Cyrillic characters

3. Prepare the Game

- Copy the contents of the «DenuvOwO» folder into the game directory
- Launch the game
Hypervisor Requirements
- Certain system security features must be disabled
System Preparation
- Run VBS.cmd as Administrator
- When prompted (press F7), disable driver signature enforcement
- Carefully read all displayed information before proceeding
- After finishing gameplay, restore all changes

Launching the Game
- Run steamclient_loader_x64.exe as Administrator
- Disable AutoLoadHV in DenuvOwO.ini if you want manual hypervisor loading
AutoLoadHV Behavior
- If enabled:
- Hypervisor loads automatically
- Requires administrator privileges
- Unloads via watchdog.exe
- If disabled:
- No admin rights required to launch the game
- Driver service must be managed manually (advanced users)
