About The Game

Tearscape, a dark, top down pixel adventure, prioritizes a precise and nuanced combat system, where survival depends on quick reflexes and careful resource management. The blade is the primary tool for dispatching grotesque enemies, while a well-timed roll allows not only to avoid attacks but also to cross small chasms. Every action, from attacking to dashing, drains stamina, requiring the hunter to constantly monitor the green bar.

Tears collected from defeated enemies serve as currency for stat upgrades. Stone statues serve as respawn and upgrade points; activating them restores health and a limited supply of healing flasks, while simultaneously reviving all common monsters in the area. Exploring the world is a non-linear journey through interconnected locations, including cemeteries, abandoned villages, and labyrinthine mausoleums. Each area in Tearscape is filled with secrets and dangers.

• Explore the world and overcome dangers:
• Solve spatial puzzles to open new passages.
• Interact with non-player characters, such as Aldrich.
• Find hidden paths and caches in complex locations.
• Battle common monsters and grotesque bosses.
• Use a blade to attack and roll to dodge.
• Control stamina consumption for all actions.
• Collect Tears from enemies to level up character stats.
• Activate stone statues as respawn points and healing points.
