About The Game
MEMOLITH Forsaken by Light drops you into a world where the sun has dimmed to a permanent twilight and ancient monoliths known as Memoliths are the only source of remaining light. Developed by Black Anchor and published by Webzen for release in 2026 this RPG strategy survival game casts you as a Warden, a warrior sworn to protect the last pockets of civilization. You must venture into the darkness scavenge for resources and fight corrupted creatures that twist into grotesque forms. Your ultimate goal is to restore power to the Memoliths before the eternal night consumes everything.
The latest version of the game introduces a dynamic corruption system where spending too long in darkness transforms your surroundings and affects your sanity. RPG elements include character classes such as Lightbringer Shadowblade and Runeweaver, each with unique skill trees and equipment. Strategy comes from choosing which Memoliths to power first and how to allocate scarce resources between defense exploration and research. Survival mechanics require you to manage hunger thirst body temperature and exposure to the dark. You can build shelters craft weapons and set up trade routes with other survivor enclaves.
