RUNNING TRAIN | 走ル列車 invites you to experience the quiet rhythm of Japanese rail driving, where your only tasks are to depart on time, brake smoothly, and watch the countryside glide by. Developed and published by Novatetsu Games for release in 2026 and currently in Early Access, this casual indie simulation game strips away the complexity of hardcore train sims. You control a single commuter line with authentic Japanese electric multiple units. The controls are simplified, accelerate, decelerate, and ring the bell. There are no timetables to memorize or penalties for minor mistakes. The focus is on immersion and atmosphere, the sound of the crossing gates, the gentle sway of the carriage, and the changing seasons outside your window.
