About The Game
The Colossus Is Coming — by FYRE Games, the developer of the popular story game Summerland, is an experimental and abstract story that goes in tandem with the eponymous album Auric Echoes. You take control of an unnamed protagonist, revealing the story of a mysterious colossus through a series of cassettes. This 15-20 minute experience is sure to fill you with feelings of anxiety and fear. Everything seems calm. Many tall trees sway in the wind. The birds sing for you, as if creating perfect harmony.
The sun breaks through the leaves above to illuminate you. But something is wrong. Something is watching you, something omniscient. The feeling that you are not alone is getting stronger. A light breeze turned into a sharp wind. It is impossible to distinguish trees from the figure in the distance. What are these sounds? Beautiful and atmospheric visual effects that make full use of Unity HDRP. Terrible and mysterious story. Exciting sound design, including music and samples from the album Auric Echoes.
