About The Game
Guntech 2 — is a return to the good old genre of Cave Flyer. This is a retro-style game in which modern graphics and visual effects are combined with classic gameplay. This is a shooter with two joysticks, created under the influence of such classic games as Thrust, Oids, Geometry Wars and Asteroids. You can play alone or in a co-op with up to 4 players. You can play with the game controller as well as with the keyboard and mouse. With the Guntech 2 game controller there is a shooter with two joysticks, in which you use the left joystick to steer and push your ship, and the right joystick to control the railsotron. Your ship has a total of three different weapons. Buttons on the shoulders trigger two additional, more powerful weapons that always shoot in the direction of the nose of your ship.This allows you to shoot from a reytotron in any direction, with additional firepower when you direct your ship to the enemy. When using the keyboard, you use WASD or arrow keys to control and push, SHIFT SPACE for other weapons and a mouse for railsotron. Note that the keyboard is only available to the first player, local multiplayer requires the use of game controllers. Guntech 2 has 5 different worlds Tutorial, Virus, Dark Worlds, Space Jungle and Cargo Carrier. Each world has 8 levels plus a boss level at the end. In addition, there are seasonal levels, which are fun and silly little missions dedicated to the seasons, such as Christmas and Halloween.
You can play in ARCADE or ADVENTURE mode. Adventure mode allows you to play at any unlocked level, so you can continue to conquer the world from where you left off. You have a new set of lives for each level. Each level has three different goals. The first is required to complete the levels and will bring you one star. Goals of other levels will bring you extra stars and you can try to pass all the levels to 3-star results. Arcade mode allows you to choose any unlocked world, but always start from the first level, trying to get it to the end. You have a set of lives that is not reset for every level and the game ends when your life ends. In arcade mode, you play for points and position in the leaderboard.
