Selenes Unbearable Night is an indie action-adventure game that follows the harrowing journey of Selene, a woman who finds herself kidnapped and fighting for survival. As players progress through the dark story, they uncover a sinister secret that goes beyond Selene’s original situation. The game features two playable characters, allowing for deeper exploration of the plot’s motives and backstory. Combat is multifaceted, offering players a choice between stealth, melee weapons such as knives, and firearms to combat various enemy types. Dodging and parrying mechanics, as well as interaction with the environment, round out the gameplay. Resource management plays a major role, with scarce supplies adding to the tension. Players must also solve puzzles by carefully examining the environment and collecting key items that simultaneously serve to uncover Selene’s story.
