Anima Flux game takes place in a distant fictional future. People have made impressive progress in the field of technology, which has made it possible to travel across planets, as well as create new, more powerful weapons. The main problem in the galaxy has become bloodthirsty mutants that threaten the civilian population. Not everyone can cope with them, because monsters, in addition to their enormous size, have impressive strength. The main characters are members of a special elite unit, whose task is to destroy mutants. There are two protagonists a man and a woman. In the case of a single playthrough, the player can choose one of them, and in co-op, you can combine heroes.

Each of the warriors has unique abilities and characteristics. The fighters' skills must be correctly combined in order to deliver attacks with the greatest effectiveness. Also, general effort is required to solve puzzles and riddles based on physics and environment. The gameplay consists of alternately overcoming levels of varying difficulty. On the way, the gamer encounters bloodthirsty creatures with different characteristics. Bosses are especially dangerous and require an individual approach. During the passage, the fighters will visit different locations, where they can not only look at the landscapes of the futuristic world, but also find valuable items. The resources found can be used in the future to increase combat power and chances of survival.
