The upcoming sci-fi video game from Blowfish Studios and Animoca Brands will challenge players to save humanity from an alien threat. While Phantom Galaxies is a unique intergalactic adventure, the game will contain elements familiar to fans of military science fiction. In the game, players take control of Mechanized Starfighters, similar to the mechs from Gundam, or the robots of Transformers. Starfighters have the ability to transform from advanced space fighters into fighting robots, ready to take on the challenges that an elite squadron of rangers will face in the upcoming space RPG.

As the new Phantom Galaxies cinematic trailer from free mechanics reveals, the game will feature a thrilling story-driven campaign of survival and domination. The press release added that Mechanized Starfighters will be used to defeat the Sha’Har, a mysterious and militant civilization bent on destroying humanity forever. Players will use their ships to explore a universe populated by pirates, enemy factions and scavengers, completing quests and smuggling missions in their intergalactic quest to save the human race. Choices made in the game will «ripple across the colonies», affecting the plot and narrative. Phantom Galaxies will also use NFT assets allowing players to own digital property rights in games.
