Folk Hero is an action shooter with rogue-lite elements that takes you into Slavic fantasy. This addictive game takes adventurers to an ever-changing island where they must uncover secrets, accumulate treasures, and craft powerful weapons and artifacts to battle legendary enemies. With one life and one shot, your skills face their greatest test yet. In the world of Folk Hero, ancient Slavic myths become reality. Leshy, Brownie and Mermaid become tangible, and mysterious phenomena become numerous. Forests hide missing animals, villagers see the appearance of mythical creatures, and a mysterious island appears on the horizon. Take on the role of a brave hero and go on a journey to Buyan Island — the epicenter of these incomprehensible phenomena.

Fight in souls-lite style, using fast and powerful strikes, special maneuvers, dodges, blocks and parries to defeat your opponents. Sensitive controls allow you to quickly adapt to the constantly changing course of battle. Get ready for unique encounters with a variety of enemies and formidable bosses. Each enemy requires a special strategy, which forces the player to carefully study his behavior. To defeat difficult bosses, you need to constantly improve your combat skills. The game features a universal character creation system that allows you to combine character classes, weapons, artifacts and elemental runes to enhance your combat skills.

By mixing runes, you can open up new weapon capabilities, expanding your combat repertoire. The game’s interior environments feature procedurally generated levels, ensuring that each adventure through the Mysterious Forest, Swamp, Wasteland and Koshchei’s Castle will be different, filled with hidden secrets waiting to be discovered. Folk Hero’s unique twist is the concept of friendly fire, where enemies can accidentally harm each other, allowing you to manipulate their conflicts and save precious health points. The threat of constant death looms over the island; failure leads to eternal imprisonment. However, points earned for each attempt are saved and can be used to strengthen new heroes and unlock additional abilities.

How to Install the Game
