Between Horizons is a 2.5D pixel art adventure that seamlessly combines action with branching storytelling in a semi-open world. You have to solve cases, connect clues and confront the inhabitants of the ship in revealing secrets. Each discovery is interconnected, and a tangled web of secrets will need to be deciphered to overcome the spiraling crisis aboard the Zephyr. Between Horizons introduces users to a unique art style that combines timeless pixel art with 3D environments and visual effects. As you delve deeper into this ever-expanding Metroidvania-style world, you’ll make more difficult decisions, asking you to consider the delicate balance between generational responsibility.

A flexible evidence system allows you to assign clues to your investigation, giving you autonomy in decision-making. Bugs are not easy to fix since the story is driven by the gamer’s decisions and there will be no second chances. The consequences of choices, for better or for worse, become an integral part of the narrative, making each playthrough unique and thought-provoking. As you progress, the difficulty level increases, but there are opportunities to upgrade the futuristic vehicle, which will help you overcome obstacles more efficiently.
