Survival requires vigilance against the elements and surrounding threats. Well-being depends on how the daredevil stays nourished, hydrated and sane, as well as treacherous weather, toxic substances, ferocious creatures and other dangers. Additional complexity is created by the insidious cultists of Jaer, who tirelessly strive to disrupt the peace and plunder the reserves acquired through back-breaking labor.
