Botany Manor will be released on Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam in spring 2024, publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Balloon Studios have announced. The game will also be available through Xbox Game Pass. This is an adventure puzzle game where players explore a large estate with many plants and grassy areas. Set in 19th-century England, Botany Manor centers on Arabella Green, a retired botanist who sets out on a journey to restore the estate’s forgotten plants to their former glory. You’ll find clues hidden among Arabella’s research notes, books, and personal belongings as you explore the estate’s serene grounds and elaborate interiors. Each plant requires unique conditions to thrive, from simulating a thunderstorm to recreating a volcanic landscape. Welcome to Botany Manor, a stately home in 19th century England. Players will see the estate through the eyes of its only resident, retired botanist Arabella Green. Her collection of rare, forgotten flora needs a real home, which means it’s time to do a little research. Explore Arabella’s home and gardens, filled with botanical notes, books and posters, to find suitable habitats for precious plants. Use interactive objects scattered throughout the estate and grounds to solve plant-based puzzles. Once Arabella begins to grow each plant, she may discover some mysterious qualities in them.
