The Thread of Fate begins with the player entering a factory complex that has suffered an unknown incident. Shortly after arriving, the player character shrinks dramatically, becoming tiny. This change in size dramatically alters the perception of the environment; familiar production areas now seem like vast, transformed spaces. Navigating this place is fraught with threats, made worse by the player character’s small size. The goal is to explore this dangerous area.

The confrontation with the current inhabitants of the facility takes center stage in The Thread of Fate. Mutated creatures, spawned by a mysterious incident, fill the hallways and debris of the facility. According to the original source, these creatures hunt anyone who enters, seeking to tear apart uninvited guests. The player’s small stature makes them extremely vulnerable to these aggressive biological consequences of the disaster. In order to survive, it is necessary to avoid or directly confront these omnipresent threats.

Exploring the locations requires careful movement through dramatically altered sections of the plant, visible from just a few centimeters above the floor. Previously unremarkable piles of rubble or machine parts now provide significant cover or become insurmountable obstacles. Shadows and structural collapses create an atmosphere where danger can suddenly appear from any direction. Success in this project means finding a way through the hostile environment; failure results in the hero joining the nameless victims, consumed by the decay of the plant and its mutated inhabitants.

How to Install the Game
