A Hat in Time is another arcade platformer in the spirit of Banjo-Kazooie and Mario 64, adjusted for modern graphics and a fully three-dimensional game engine. The Danes from Gears for Breakfast present to you a unique story with an energetic heroine in the main role. A little lover of funny hats named Hat Kid traveled across the galaxy, collecting grains of time for her ship and home, where every mechanism depends on Time Particles. But she was unable to return to her home planet due to the fact that her vessel was attacked by dirty mafiosi from Mafia City.
The bandit who broke into her ship left a hole through which all the particles scattered throughout the universe, and the ship itself crashed onto the planet. The game A Hat in Time is a platformer to the core, the most classic one. The heroine can jump, run, do somersaults, and the locations, in turn, make her do acrobatic sketches. Collect time particles, open bonus levels and improve the abilities of the little girl in a funny hat. In some locations, the heroine will be able to arm herself with an umbrella and use it to fight off opponents.
