Scavland takes characters to a post-apocalyptic Soviet era, to a territory transformed by war and an advancing substance called the Mist. The gameplay involves acting as a Vulture, a gatherer who explores this landscape to obtain vital resources and complete missions. Survival requires seeking shelter in ancient cities, as the surrounding area is full of unrelenting threats. The goal is to provide for yourself through exploration and combat, with the ability to break this vicious circle of endless struggle.

In the Scavland project, the main goal is survival, pushing other concerns into the background. Mutants, spawned by altered animals, people or flora, as well as bandits, attack immediately upon meeting, and radiation and the Darkness imperceptibly poison the body. Each foray into a relatively safe place carries danger, causing a gradual mastery of the title’s mechanics. The player starts at the bottom of the new social hierarchy, functioning as a protagonist to establish themselves as it spreads. Zalesye, a settlement ravaged by battles and the phenomenon, is home to various factions and inhabitants, who issue quests and have their own views on what is happening.

How to Install the Game
