Rewrite Harvest festa takes place in Kazamatsuri, a city built on the principle of the coexistence of civilization and nature. Here, the protagonist Tennouji Kotarou spends his days with his friends Kanbe Kotori and Yoshino Haruhiko. Once a year, the foundations of the city are shaken by a large-scale event — the Harvest Festival. Kotarou uses this occasion to collect information on rumors regarding unidentified creatures and the occult. This activity coincides with a series of unexplained events that begin to happen to the protagonist himself.

He accepts an offer from Senri Akane, the president of the Occult Research Society, to help in an investigation involving his classmates. For Kotarou, this becomes a period of active activity and research in the company of an energetic group of people. The events of Rewrite Harvest festa! ultimately reveal that his personal adventure is connected with the search for a truth that has not yet been discovered. The core of the narrative is built around the ability to change the predetermined path of another person. This journey reveals the connections between him and the people he has met in society.

This project offers 6 unlockable branches of the narrative, each dedicated to one of the heroines. The player’s decisions lead to many choices, leading to different endings for each character’s path. After completing all storylines, the player becomes available to a first-person dungeon crawler minigame called Rewrite Quest. Completing the story segments also unlocks an image viewer and music playback mode, providing access to materials encountered throughout the game.
