Super Loco World Cozy Train Automation tasks players with building railway networks in a procedurally generated environment. The main goal is to transport goods and provide everything needed in a dynamically changing world, where settlements grow from villages to large cities as their needs are met. The creation of transport arteries occurs with the help of a cursor acting like a brush, and the project automatically determines the location of T-shaped forks, bridges and curved tracks. This approach simplifies the laying of interconnected routes for the movement of resources around the location.

In Super Loco World Cozy Train Automation, control over the movement of trains is key to development. The gamer needs to avoid congestion and ensure a continuous flow of goods by implementing logical controls. For this, there are signs that direct locomotives with different goods along specified tracks, and stop signals to regulate congested areas. In addition, traffic lights control the arrival and departure of trains at stations, which automates delivery at network hubs.

The gameplay includes an economic component that poses the task of maintaining a balance between expenses and income. New trains are created at the depot, and each of them consumes fuel, and long distances increase operating costs. This game allows trains to return to the depot to add or remove wagons, adapting them to different types of cargo. As the locomotive fleet expands and the volume of resources collected increases to meet growing demand, maintaining profitability becomes a more complex task.
