Forest Heroes combines tower defense elements with roguelike deckbuilding. The action takes place in Noctopl, a forest that flourished under the protection of elves who wield mushroom magic. However, an offended oak has cast a curse on the land, distorting it. As an elf guardian, the player's task is to rally animal allies to fight back. The main mission is to defend the operational base and cleanse the surrounding area from the influence of the curse in order to restore the area to its original state.

The gameplay in Forest Heroes is built around the defense of the Mushroom Tower, a base necessary for cleansing the land and summoning allies. This structure must be protected from continuous waves of advancing enemies, whose onslaught stops only after defeating their boss. Limited mana must be distributed to deploy animal squads against enemy forces. Players also use skills, pushing back the front lines and controlling the battlefield during real-time skirmishes.

The enemies power grows as the in-game cycle changes from day to dusk and night. To gain the upper hand, the player's army must be strengthened accordingly. This progression involves acquiring various animal cards to build a deck. Summoned creatures can be equipped with hats that provide certain buffs. Strategy is also formed by collecting Elven skill cards and Artifacts, which are components for completing a task and achieving triumph in hack and slash battles.

How to Install the Game
