About The Game

Xenopurge is a tactical autobattler in which the player takes on the role of a Commander tasked with systematically eradicating a xenos threat. Command is exercised from a remote command center via a set of on-screen interfaces for managing squads on the battlefield. There is no direct control over units; instead, general orders are given that guide the independent actions of fighters. Missions gradually become more complex, adding new factors and increasing resistance, which requires continuous tactical development.

The planning stage involves detailed preparation both before and during clashes. It includes determining routes for combat teams and assigning priority targets among hostile life forms. In the Xenopurge project, initial plans often collide with unforeseen events, requiring the Commander to quickly react and change his approach. Gameplay is built around setting objectives, monitoring their implementation, and then adjusting tactics depending on the changing situation. Every decision directly affects the outcome of the operation. In this game, the execution of orders is entrusted to the fighters themselves, acting according to an approved plan. The commander's function shifts from active leadership to observation and analysis during combat episodes.
