Virtua Unlimited Project is a 2D pixel art action game set in a surreal virtual world where Vtubers with unique superpowers battle each other. Players take on the role of Aizawa Kana, a popular Vtuber, and explore the world of NEO Babylon while encountering other Vtubers with strange powers. The game combines classic platforming gameplay, retro combat design, and RPG elements, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the glamorous world of Vtubers.

The game is set in the future, where humanity has gone into hibernation to allow the Earth to regenerate, and a new energy called E.S.P. has emerged, along with unpredictable disasters known as Chaos Pollution Incidents. Special people called Operators use E.S.P. to combat the chaos and help evolve the world. By defeating boss Operators, players can obtain parts of their abilities and attributes, strengthen their support skills, and activate EX skills. The game features an action system, the main feature of which is the "Extreme Flying Strike", which can be used to interact with the environment and enemies, offering various tricks for exploration. Various "Extensions" are hidden throughout the levels, which provide the character with special abilities, encouraging active exploration and strategic planning.
