Adventure of Samsara is a 2D Metroidvania that pays homage to classic Atari 2600 adventures while forging its own path. Developed by Brazilian studio Ilex Games, you play as the Solar Champion, a resurrected Plutonian warrior brought back by the primordial sunlight to restore balance to the entire universe. Your mission is to rebuild an interdimensional fortress, while navigating 10 different biomes, from frozen wastelands to industrial labs.

The game features interconnected worlds filled with mutant bosses, environmental hazards, and hidden upgrades that gradually unlock new abilities. Each upgrade reveals more about the cosmic narrative centered on death, rebirth, and memory. The pixel art style delivers classic gameplay with a modern twist, creating an exploration that feels both nostalgic and fresh.

In addition to the standard Metroidvania mechanics, the game rewards curious players with Easter eggs that reference the original adventure, including familiar buildings and enemy designs.
