Virtual Hunter is a VR hunting simulator developed by Korpi Games Oy that brings a true wilderness experience to the adventure, indie, simulation and sports genres. Players explore vast open hunting grounds populated by realistically behaved wild animals, including red deer, European hares, wild boars and fallow deer, each with unique AI that responds to sight, sound and smell.

The game places a strong emphasis on hunting tactics — weapon selection, equipment management and strategic planning as you stalk animals from hunting towers or follow your instincts in the wild. A sophisticated weapon stabilization system allows for precise shots at long ranges, while realistic ballistics reward clean kills that minimize tracking time. Each animal species has its own behavioral characteristics, and trophy specimens have heightened senses, which adds to the challenge but also provides excellent rewards.

Virtual Hunter unique trophy system allows players to taxidermy their kills and display them freely in a customizable lodge, choosing wall displays, full-body poses, or tabletop mounts with a variety of placement options. The multiplayer component supports up to six hunters who work together to strategize and hunt for the biggest trophies, then gather in the lodge to show off their accomplishments. With four trophy tiers for each animal species, a variety of fur options, and personal best-score tracking, the game offers an extensive progression system that encourages both solo exploration and cooperative hunting.
