About The Game

The Gold River Project is an atmospheric survival adventure where an idyllic wilderness expedition gradually reveals itself to be a cruel experiment. You find yourself in one of the largest private game reserves in the Pacific Northwest, where every step is monitored, and your attempts to survive become part of someone else's plan. The game begins as a tranquil journey: seaplane, lakes, trails, and overnight stays under the stars. However, days turn into weeks, and the guide never returns.

The realization of the trap gradually dawns as the environment begins to change, and the behavior of the world reveals the artificial nature of what's happening. Survival is built on adaptation and choice. Crafting, camp building, stealth, and puzzle solving intertwine with exploration and resource gathering. You can play solo or co-op, advancing at your own pace. Every item found and decision made brings you closer to solving the experiment and a possible escape.
