Mall Rivals is about a ruthless battle for customers wallets, unfolding in procedurally generated shopping centers. The corridor architecture is redesigned before each start. Memorizing the map is utterly useless. Honest dealings quickly give way to shady schemes. Collaboration with smugglers opens up new avenues for enrichment. Sabotage on competitors premises becomes the norm. However, local security vigilantly patrols the sectors. The failure of an illegal operation results in public disgrace. The name of the violator is displayed on screens, scaring away customers. Stable growth is impossible without delegating authority to staff.

Division of labor is the foundation of prosperity. Cashiers continuously serve the flow of customers. Workers promptly refill empty shelves. Cleaners methodically maintain the appearance of the store. Scaling a business depends on adapting to the market. Mall Rivals accommodates up to eight entrepreneurs at a time. Gamers are given complete freedom to choose their strategy. Yesterday's companions easily become enemies for the sake of personal gain. A flexible lobby system allows for detailed programming of upcoming confrontations.
