About The Game

Green Heights is a first-person vertical platformer where the protagonist must scale sheer structures within a confined space reminiscent of a giant terrarium. The environment is imbued with a mystical atmosphere, created by deliberately aged textures and dim lighting that evokes a sense of unease. Dense vegetation conceals subtle loopholes that can significantly shorten the climb to an inaccessible summit. The exploration aspect is closely intertwined with the fear of making a fatal mistake, as any misstep instantly resets progress. The lack of intermediate checkpoints transforms the monotonous traversal of obstacles into a severe test of endurance, justifying the inclusion of psychological thriller elements.

Green Heights movement mechanics rely on inertia and extreme concentration, forcing the player to meticulously calculate every move in a confined space. The parkour system includes not only standard jumps but also the use of springy surfaces for rapid gains. In addition to the main route, locations contain rare collectibles in the form of isopods and pills, distributed across different difficulty levels. Competitive play is represented through global leaderboards and a ghost race feature for perfecting the perfect speedrun. The entire process of conquering the tower is focused on:

• identifying hidden shortcuts among dense thickets;
• honing maneuvering skills on narrow ledges;
• accumulating valuable items in various formats;
• analyzing trajectories to record the best times.
