About The Game

Project Songbird is a dark psychological horror game imbued with a cinematic aesthetic and demanding maximum concentration. The protagonist's permadeath system is unforgiving. Over the course of five hours, players explore terrifying locations. Self-defense options include a melee arsenal and firearms. Equipment can be upgraded to increase chances of survival. The atmosphere is enhanced by a soundtrack by Jacob Noska and Jonah Henthorn of Auric Echoes. The soundscape is complemented by voice acting by Valerie Rose Lohman, Jonah Scott, and Alex Le. Discovered secrets unlock hidden routes, and decisions shape one of several endings.

The narrative is built around the dark side of the creative process. The central character is Dakota, a musician suffering from a crisis of ideas seeking inspiration for her album "Starring." Seeking solitude, the heroine journeys to a remote forest cabin in the Appalachian Mountains. However, isolation turns into a plunge into nightmares. Here, Project Songbird reveals its true nature. The creator must confront fears made real. Deadly threats lurk in the darkness. The wilderness becomes a trap, requiring a desperate struggle for sanity.
