About The Game
Ultimate Monkey Race is a multiplayer platformer where players construct a course as they compete. The game combines level design and platforming into a single, continuous phase of gameplay. Players simultaneously place structural components and dangerous traps on the map, creating a shared obstacle course in real time. Each player then navigates this constantly changing environment. The goal is to overcome obstacles and cross the finish line, earning points to win.

This dynamic forces players to weigh the benefits of each placement against the obstacles they create for others. Navigating the constantly changing obstacle course requires mastery of parkour mechanics. Competitors must jump and climb through the architecture they themselves constructed moments earlier.
Rounds are built on a point system that rewards successful completion. The primary method of scoring points is reaching the finish line, which motivates players to complete the course as quickly as possible. A match ends when the set conditions are met, after which the scores of all competitors are compared. The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the round. This cycle of building, running, and scoring defines the gameplay.
