Disgaea 4 Complete Plus — like all predecessors of the series, is a representative of tactical turn-based RPG, with a field divided into separate cells. The basis of the gameplay, it would seem, has not undergone significant changes, even the list of commands that you can give to the fighters remains absolutely the same. At the same time, for the fourth part, the developers managed, based on the general concept laid down in Disgaea Hour of Darkness, to introduce new elements into the combat system and make the development process of fighters more interesting. We will consider these innovations in more detail. So geo symbols, which were previously colored pyramids, acquired new faces and became cubes, at the same time receiving a slightly modified name for geo blocks.

In general, the principle of their operation has remained the same. Geoblocks have various properties that are useful for us and not very much, and they endow the cells of the field with the same color. Staying on geo panels can result in an increase or decrease in attack and defense parameters, a ban on the use of special skills, the inability to use the Lift command, the cancellation of any incoming damage and similar conditions. However, this metamorphosis of geosymbols is by no means cosmetic in nature now allied and enemy characters are able to stand on three-dimensional figures, falling under the influence of the mentioned effects.

Moreover, thanks to the new appearance, inanimate objects are perfectly placed on hexagons of different shades, therefore, on the levels you can now find not only geoblocks standing alone at a distance from each other, but also entire structures of them and metal boxes. The player is also able to influence the construction of cubes: it is enough to raise one of the geometric shapes that you like and, when throwing, collide with other polyhedrons of the same shade. In this case, absolutely all geoblocks of the same color will disappear without a trace. You can still destroy colored cells on the field, activating the chains of destruction of geopanels. These tactical tools allow you to control the situation on the battlefield, changing the course of the battle in your favor.

How to Install the Game
