Fred3ric — is a music game in which we play the role of the famous Polish composer Frederic Chopin. The game is the third part of a series initiated in 2012 by Frederic The Resurrection of Music. The authors of the previous two games and the horror adventure Hollow, Forever Entertainment, are responsible for the development and release of this game. The hero of Fred3ric is the famous composer Frederic Chopin, who returns from the dead to fight evil with his music. This time, he is confronted by the sinister cybernetic being Zeitgeist, whose plan is to throw the musician into the maelstrom of time and thus deprive him of everything that has ever been valuable to him.
Mechanically, Fred3ric is quite a classic music game similar to what we know from the Guitar Hero cycle. The player’s task is to react to a series of notes that appear on the screen and press the corresponding keys on the keyboard of the virtual piano. A sense of rhythm is crucial here. If we choose the right sounds, the melody will be clean and correct, and when we make mistakes, we play out of tune. The game offers several different levels each of them is a musical duel with a certain person most often with another resurrected composer, who was replaced by the main antagonist of the game. It is worth noting that the player can adjust the production difficulty level according to their skills.
In Fred3ric we can only play alone. Fred3ric has original 2D graphics. The visual side of the game is based on 2D animated illustrations that evoke associations with an animated film or comic strip. A particularly good impression here is made by interesting projects of characters both Jero and other composers standing in his way.
