War Mongrels — is the work of Polish Destructive Creations. The developer already has games like Ancestors Legacy strategy game or Hatred shooter. WM is an isometric view strategy game based on stealth and silent destruction of enemies. The game is reminiscent of classic series like Commandos or Desperados. The creators take us to World War II, representing the Eastern Front. The developers do not spare the player from such complex topics as the Holocaust and mass murder.

War Mongrels we start the game guiding the actions of two soldiers of the Wehrmacht. Ewald and Manfred, as they are named after them, decide to take advantage of the confusion caused by Russian artillery shelling of their unit’s positions. The main characters decide to desert, after which a long and dangerous journey begins. The title tells the story of the adventures of a random group of people for example, German soldiers, Jews and Poles from the Home Army who want to survive the turmoil of war. During the game, the characters often discuss and comment on their actions. They often have different views and argue as a result. The background and integral element of the plot are the war crimes of Germany, which we often witness.

The creators took care of the realism of War Mongrels, for this they used the services of a historical consultant. Thanks to this, we can not only see accurately reproduced cars, weapons or uniforms of soldiers of that period, but also become witnesses of authentic historical events. WM in many ways resembles the classics of the genre. The essence of the game is to silently destroy enemies and make your way through their positions. We are given a squad under our command, whose members have unique abilities that allow us to survive. Some of our subordinates are capable of luring opponents into a trap, others can pretend to be enemy soldiers the way we complete the mission depends on our play style.

The game also has a tactical mode that allows us to plan the actions of several of our subordinates at the same time in order to better coordinate their actions. If we wish, we can try to fight openly. This is facilitated by a special mode that, when turned on, orders our soldiers to automatically attack approaching enemies. This allows us to go through some parts of the game. However, the title is still a compilation and we cannot make it a rule. Often there are more enemies than us, and you need to remember about the limitation of ammunition.

The passage of the game «Rambo» is complicated by the fact that the magazines left by the enemies do not always have to match our weapons. We can play both in single player mode and in co-op mode with friends. It is worth noting that the developers from the studio Destructive Creations have tried to create natural animation for the characters. They were created using motion capture technology. The game has an atmospheric sound setting that dynamically changes depending on the situation in which we find ourselves.

NOTES. Due to the amount of changes to the game files, we decided to make new standalone.

How to Install the Game
  1. Download the Full game War.Mongrels.v42052-CODEX through torrent.
  2. Mount the Full ISO-image game in the «UltraISO».
  3. Install the game on you PC, wait for 100% installation.
  4. Copy all files of the folder «CODEX» in game folder.
  5. Lock the game folder in the Windows firewall.
  6. Play!
