About The Game

Hellslave is an RPG with dungeon elements. The game was developed by the French studio Ars Goetia, the authors of The Blind Prophet. The game takes place in a world heading towards the apocalypse due to the invasion of demonic armies. We play as a daredevil who will try to save the remnants of humanity from destruction. To do this, he concludes an agreement with the devil himself and begins to worship one of the great demons. Thus, he acquires abilities that will allow him to challenge the rest of the infernal beings.

Hellslave is a classic dungeon crawler. The gameplay mainly consists of exploring dungeons full of monsters and traps. We watch what is happening in the first person, we move by jumping from place to place, and the player can only turn 90 degrees to the left or right. Fights take place in real time, and the development of the main character plays a key role in the game. As we progress through the game, we unlock both classic skills and demonic abilities, and in order to succeed, it is necessary to create the right synergy between the various talents of our character.

During the campaign, the player travels around the world on a map showing the land from a great perspective. Visited villages and towns have the appearance of static screens, and all the fortresses, cemeteries and dungeons have the appearance of dungeons that can be explored in typical dungeon crawler style. Hellslave strength is its design. The graphics are fully 2D and made in a style inspired by European comics.
