Source of Madness — is an excellent side-scrolling platformer in which you will fight against numerous monsters and mutants spawned by dark forces, magic, traps and puzzles, obstacles and much more. The most important feature of this game is that literally everything here, without exception, is generated at the procedural level every time the player enters the game. Even monsters, and those, are automatically generated and every time they amaze with their appearance. Plus, levels are generated, environments in those levels, obstacles and puzzles, and everything else. Separately, it is worth noting the unique physics, thanks to which the toy has ceased to be similar to other representatives of the genre.

You will go through the levels, jumping over the tops of the fir trees, which, like springs, push the main character away when they unbend, jump over monsters and enemies, roll over the corpses of enemies and do much more. In other words, here you will have to constantly interact with the whole world around you — otherwise this game simply won’t pass. As for the battles, you will be using magic spells to fight in Source of Madness with numerous creatures and spawn of darkness. Already, magic is represented by dozens of spells, and in the future the developers promise to add even more, and moreover, they promise that new spells will greatly affect the gameplay.

On huge levels, you will also solve numerous puzzles, mostly of a physical nature. Somewhere it will be necessary to correctly jump over one or another obstacle, and somewhere the solution to the puzzle may be based on interaction with the environment — there are many options. And at the same time, you will certainly be pleased with the atmospheric environment, made in gray tones.
