The events of the game take place during the Second World War in Europe. Well, you play the role of the ordinary staff general of the Canadian army. You will not see what is happening on the battlefield, you will not see your soldiers, and you will only control the whole process, seeing a normal map in front of you. in such an unusual way, you will have to lead the resistance of the Nazi army, carry out a dozen of the most difficult special operations, and much more.

The entire process is controlled through a regular card lying on the general’s table. Everything. what you can navigate by controlling the army and troops are reports and reports of field commanders. Focusing on them, you will have to make decisions, record data, determine the location of soldiers and give them orders, and not only. Look at the map, study the terrain and landscape, decide exactly how the troops of your soldiers will advance along the front, request reports from your subordinates and do everything possible in order to accurately recreate the real picture of what is happening. Otherwise, you will not be able to give an effective order, to predict the consequences of the actions of your soldiers, and to fulfill the order of the higher leadership.

Build bridges over castles to cross canals, fight in swamps, fight for every inch of wet land and earn the nickname «Water Rats». Take part in Operation Veritable to break into Germany and finally help the 4.5 million starving Dutch civilians.

Use aerial reconnaissance to study black-and-white photos of enemy positions, fire on Typhoon missile carriers to fight tanks, and of course shoot down lots of bombs. Together with engineers, build temporary bridges over castles to cross canals and rivers.
