Before The Night is a psychological horror adventure. In the first minutes of the game, it seems that the genre of psychological horror is indicated here by mistake, but do not be deceived by the pompous cuteness that you find yourself with the main character. You ended up in a village where extremely friendly animals live, who are always happy to help. But as soon as you decide to come at night to pick the Flowers of Life to save your friend, you will see the true face of the inhabitants of the village, or rather, you will see the true appearance of the rabbits that guard these flowers.

At the first levels, the whole mechanics of the game will be reduced to solving various puzzles, but then you will be taught how to use weapons and will be given some kind of hammer. At higher levels, you will be able to fight using a bow with arrows, as well as various knives. The game skillfully immerses you at first in a warm, friendly atmosphere, and then abruptly changes the atmosphere to an extremely insane, tense and frightening one. Due to the fact that everything is drawn by hand, the game has a great style.
