In The WILDS simulator, the gamer discovers the richness of the animal world and the forest area. Its appearance can be changed — increase or decrease the eyes, cheeks, nose, head, as well as adjust the size of the torso. It is important to explore locations, communicate with other animals, produce offspring or unite for the sake of joint survival. It is required not just to wander through the forest — you need to look for all the ways to stay alive. It is worth finding sources of water and food, hunting, or vice versa avoiding ferocious predators.

Main characters in The WILDS:

• The wolf is strong, agile and hardy.
• Deer — quickly moves around the area.
• The bear is the strongest character.
• The raccoon is agile, easily making its way through the grass.
• Raven — you can enjoy the feeling of flying and viewing range.

You have to find a secluded place where you can create a safe home and stay with your family. It is also worth storing supplies, raising children, and sometimes defending yourself from enemies there. Survival features depend on the creature chosen as the main character. Predators will have to constantly hunt for prey in order to feed themselves and loved ones. It also affects the typical habitat, the growth and development of children, the main types of food and the availability of clean water sources. Available change of seasons, day and night, weather conditions — it is also better to adapt to them.
