About The Game

In Shards of Realm, you have to explore a broken world where political ambitions are closely intertwined with magical intrigue. After a devastating magical storm, the world split into fragments that became independent states. Each of these states has its own interests, and some rulers seek to expand their territories using force or underhanded methods. Your mission is to either unite these lands under your rule, or defend your kingdom from invaders trying to seize control of the magical shards. The game world is constantly changing depending on your decisions, and each choice will have consequences.

Tactical battles are the core of Shards of Realm gameplay, but that’s not all the game has to offer. Each faction has unique abilities that allow you to create unique strategies. You will not only have to lead your troops to the battlefield, but also manage resources, build cities and make alliances. Economic strategy plays an important role, as the ability of your kingdom to survive and prosper depends on the proper allocation of resources. Trade with other nations or, conversely, isolate them from important resources to achieve your goal.

In addition, the storyline of the game offers many quests that reveal deep details of the world’s history. You will encounter magical anomalies, ancient civilizations and unknown forces seeking to use the destruction for their dark purposes. Interacting with different factions and characters opens up new ways to develop the story, where your every decision can change the balance of power in the world. Shards of Realm will challenge both tacticians and deep story lovers alike, offering a rich and varied experience in the RPG and strategy genres.
