Coridden is a gripping RPG that puts a unique spin on the genre. The title immerses you in a setting where shapeshifting is not just a fantasy, but a core gameplay mechanic. As you delve into the vastness of the open setting, you will take on the traits of defeated beasts to navigate and conquer the environment. The heart of the story beats in the mysterious confines of Aashi, a city steeped in legend and mystery. Your role as a shapeshifting monster, endowed with the extraordinary ability to easily transform into different creatures, forms the core of this interesting journey. The game’s possibilities are varied: four different classes of humans and seven types of beasts. Each path reveals its own arsenal of skills and attributes, offering a whole range of strategic decisions.

The smooth transition between human and beast forms forces you to be in a constant dance with adaptation. In one instance, you can wield weapons and use gadgets as a human, while in the other, you can run faster, jump higher, and overcome obstacles in animal form. The combat system emphasizes agility and reflexes, requiring you to use your skill, equipment, and quick thinking to survive fast-paced confrontations. From wild creatures to marauding bandits and mechanized foes, the threats you face are as varied as the forms you take. As you progress deeper into the game, the prospect of cooperation in the form of cooperative gameplay opens up. Whether it’s online buddies or a local dream team, Coridden allows up to four players to team up. The synergy is further enhanced by the ability to ride each other’s backs, combining forces into an unstoppable cavalry.
