About The Game

Pull Stay is a quirky indie beat 'em up where you protect Susumu, a hikikomori (a Japanese reclusive person), from various bad guys trying to get to him. The gameplay centers around brawling mechanics, where you learn new moves as you battle different types of enemies. To keep your enemies at bay, you’ll use 15 unlockable traps like «baked fish missiles» and watermelon bazookas. You’ll need to break into your neighbors' houses to set up traps or build new rooms to gather resources. Susumu can craft new items for you, but you’ll have to discipline him if he’s sloppy. There are boss battles featuring unusual characters who use unique tactics. Developed solely by Nito Souji, the game serves as a personal reflection on hikikomori culture in Japan, adding emotional depth to this offbeat action game.
