About The Game

TDS — Tower Defense Strategy is an innovative indie game that combines elements of tower defense and real-time strategy. Developed by Blockage, the game tasks players with defending their Basin from the relentless enemy Tides. Unlike traditional tower defense games, TDS features open maps with no predetermined paths, allowing for creative defense strategies.

Players control ships — unique units that serve as both towers and mobile units capable of harvesting resources, fighting enemies, and building defenses. Each ship type has its own set of distinctive towers, adding depth to the gameplay. The game features a rich upgrade system that allows players to find synergistic combinations between towers and ships to create powerful defense systems.

TDS features a variety of handcrafted maps, each with its own visual style and gameplay mechanics. From hovering skyships to massive abandoned structures, each map presents a unique challenge.
