About The Game

Portal Fantasy revolves around collecting creatures called Porbles and using them in turn-based battles. Players travel to different locations, catching these Porbles and combining them using a fusion system to upgrade them. This mechanism allows the creatures to be strengthened, endowed with new abilities, change their appearance to the highest levels of Majesty and helps to uncover the secret history of the Kingdom of Pili. Strategic decisions when forming a party affect battles, requiring you to manage the inertia of the creatures, using skills to win.

Exploration is an important part of the gameplay of Portal Fantasy, leading characters through pixelated locations with quests, side activities and a variety of characters. The journey involves overcoming environmental hazards and passing through platforming sections with moving platforms, abysses, spikes, saws, turrets and teleporters. Solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles are part of the player’s progress, along with catching creatures and participating in battles.

The main story begins 1000 years after the Goddess War, introducing the protagonist as a latecomer to the Porble Academy in the kingdom’s capital, Valeria. The player is given the ability to change the appearance of the avatar using an expanding wardrobe of different outfits. The turn-based combat mechanics utilize special passive traits that activate depending on the composition of the assembled Porble platoon. Improving the team’s cohesion and power involves using each Porble’s unique passive ability, designed to interact in battle. Managing a group of creatures requires the use of skills at the right moment to defeat opponents.
