About The Game

Mongrel is an indie action-adventure game from Fischmell that drops players into Yonder, a bizarre dystopian society where one woman is the mother of all children and criminals are flushed down the toilet. You must navigate this twisted world while uncovering its dark secrets. Combat revolves around finding weapons and upgrades contained in ancient eggs scattered throughout the wilderness, which are needed to fight in the underworld.

The game features a unique reputation system where you must minimize misdeeds and fake compliments to rise in the social hierarchy. Your status directly impacts the gameplay reach the top to gain certain privileges, but fall to the bottom and become prey to the same people you were trying to impress. This gameplay, consisting of exploration, combat, and social manipulation, creates a rather strange, but addictive experience.
