About The Game

MIRO puts the player in the role of an individual who wakes up in an abandoned building in an unknown location, with the primary goal of finding a way back to the scientific starship of the same name. Under the guidance of a damaged artificial intelligence, the protagonist wanders through a procedural universe in search of answers about his origins. The key journey is connected with solving the mystery of the missing crew, which reveals a plot about human nature and greed.

This path through space may give a chance to save humanity. In MIRO, exploration involves traveling to numerous procedurally generated planets, where each celestial body hides its secrets and offers a step-by-step development. These worlds contain unique fauna and flora, including dinosaur-like creatures that interact both with each other and with the gamer’s character. The factor of the unknown is constantly present, because each new location provides different clues for survival in the universe.

The day and night cycle in turn changes the environment and challenges on the surface of each planet. Progress is directly dependent on exploration and resource collection. Materials found on planetary surfaces are used to create technological improvements and upgrade personal equipment. The spacesuit, available weapons and methods of movement can be upgraded at your discretion. This game system allows you to overcome natural risks and other threats, finding your own path and solutions to emerging problems.
